Traffic Division
The Berkeley Police department is committed to providing a safe pathway through the City of Berkeley by enforcing the state and local traffic laws on local streets, majors Highway 70 and 170. They investigate traffic accidents, leaving the scene of accident; street survey and provide traffic safety updates. Traffic officers are trained in accident reconstructions.
